nocoffei.com is back online, and now hosted by FurHost.

I initially planned to move away from Porkbun right when my hosting expired in August 2026; I have previously complained about their mediocre hosting quality. However, as I signed up, FurHost experienced some technical difficulties, and I wildly underestimated just how little I want to administer this site; and how much I only care about writing on the site.

The initial difficulties were frustrating but understandable seeing as it’s a small operation who had just moved to an entirely new hosting platform. I was in fact the first person to sign up under the new system.

What followed was entirely my fault! I just… Didn’t get around to restoring the site, after the issues on their end were cleaned up. It’s not been that bad, just had to futz around with MySQLAdmin and waiting on file copies (at the time of writing restoring all the images and videos is still WIP and will not finish until late tonight.) I don’t really have any good excuses; I’m sorry to the like, 5 or 6 people who actually read this crap and reached out to ask what was going on. Thanks to all of you, that’s 5 more people than I thought read this <3

What is this place now?

nocoffei.com continues to be a place showcasing my work and achievements. This is a technical blog, be that about sewing, accessibility, or the technical shitposts I founded the site on. The site has expanded in scope some, so I’m renaming the tagline to “nocoffei.com– Technical Rambles, Accessibility, and Animal Costumes.”

But occasionally I desire something a little more personal, somewhere I can talk about myself rather than my output. I wrote quite a few rant blog posts before and after publishing the Wayland a11y article talking about the personal experience of living with disability, but didn’t publish them; they just aren’t appropriate for a place like this.

There’s also some blogging carnivals I want to get in on, and some place I can discuss my personal experience of living as a member of the furry fandom…

Perhaps a new site will spawn in the future?

Don’t hold your breath, seeing how long it took to reboot the one I already had. 😐
